A wedding is not a spectator sport. Your wedding guests want to get involved and share in the excitement of your day. The dance floor is the perfect place for your guests to participate. From old classics, to new pop hits, a good dance floor is an open invitation for all to let loose and have some fun.
But DJ’ing a wedding is about more than just playing great music. Your wedding DJ is responsible for executing the timeline, orchestrating the introduction and ensuring a smooth flow of the day’s events. We partner with your other vendors, manage the participation of your guests, and of course, we read the crowd and make sure the right song is played at just the right time to ensure a full dance floor all night long.
A little about me. I am a Portland, Oregon based wedding DJ, graphic designer and illustrator. I was born and raised right here in Portland and graduated from Oregon State University in 2005. I am very passionate about our city, and in 2012 I was Knighted as a Portland Royal Rosarian. In that capacity, I use the the title Sir Knight to promote Portland, Oregon around the world. (It is also the inspiration for my business name)
I have been DJ’ing weddings for over a decade working with a wide variety of couples at numerous venues across Oregon and SW Washington.
My goal is always to bring fun, high energy and professionalism to every wedding I am a part of. We have all witnessed those horrible, cheesy wedding DJ’s. My style is more fun, and engaging in a natural, more “normal” way. You won’t have to worry about a terrible “DJ voice” or crazy wedding games.
